Has it really been close to a year since my last blog post? Well shit.
For the small few that literally read these, i've been very inactive from writing blogs, not because i was busy with real life, i was just really lazy and i was running low on ideas on what to write about. I have stated before that i'm going to go back to writing reviews for tv shows, anime, and movies and i still going to try and write one, but that'll have to take a lot of brainstorming and just something i should feel very passionate about something i'd like to talk about, positive or not. For now though, let's take a jab at a news article that just plains irritates the piss out of me.
It's a couple of days old, i know, but after hearing more about this earlier today thanks to a video made by reviewtechusa, i feel that this is something that deserves a good and simple old rant on.
So a west virginia middle school teacher named thomas yohn (pictured above) was caught by a student for doing something that literally was not safe for work. If you're wondering, yes he was, he was watching porn on a school computer. Never mind how if it's actually possible to look up naughty stuff on a school restricted computer, the student, jeffery province walked in on yohn simply because he arrived early to his class, saw what the teacher was doing and said he would him to the principal.
Now, obviously yohn is an adult and as one, you would think he would react rationally to this situation right? Negative. Later that day he barged into province's english class and THREATENED him. What did he have to say?
“Next time you open your big, stinking mouth, pal, I will write you up and send you to the office for coming into my room without permission,” Yohn says. “Is that clear?”
“What I watch as an adult is my choice,” the teacher continues. “You as a child wait in the hall until you’re invited into my room — is that clear?”
“He said, ‘I’m going to get an A this quarter, or I am going to tell that you are watching inappropriate things on TV and I saw it,'” Yohn said.
“He said, ‘I’m going to get an A this quarter, or I am going to tell that you are watching inappropriate things on TV and I saw it,'” Yohn said.
“So go ahead, tell — isn’t that what I told you to do?” he continued. “Now I’m telling you, you keep your big flap shut. Because I’m a grownup and I can watch what I want, and if you ever set foot into my room without permission again it’ll be the last time you step in my room — is that clear?”
I believe nash said it best when he said,"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"
For fucks sake man, what is your damage?! First off, why are you, as a teacher, watching porn at a middle school? What kind of sick and sleazy freak would think that this would be a good idea? If you wanted to look up naughty bits that badly, wait until you get home so you can freely give yourself a hand! Don't do it at a place where there are kids present you freak!
Secondly, why the fuck are you surprised that someone would rat you out for doing this? You could literally get fired for this, so why the fuck are you raging at a young teen for doing something rational?
Third, as an adult you can do whatever you want? In this context alone, get over yourself, if you were an adult, you know someone who would be old enough to to know what is right and what is wrong, someone who would and should be smart enough to think for themselves, you would of done none of these things! You wouldn't of threatened a kid for doing the right thing and you sure as rotten hell wouldn't of thought twice about looking up kinky shit at a fucking school! There should be no reason for you to try and justify your actions at all,so why fucking bother?
During this brain melting tirade, he even claims that province blackmailed him into getting him a good grade, which the boy denied. Oh but wait! It. Gets. WORSE. After this all blew over, province stated that he stayed at home and didn't return to school, why? Because he would think that yohn would be still be there and is scared that he might actually hurt him.
So all i have to ask is this, why in every single region of hell is thomas yohn a teacher? Other than being brainless horn dog, the guy is clearly not right in the head. The fact that he was watching porn at a place where kids go to learn, but flat out threatened to do god knows what to a young boy for simply doing the right thing, it's clearer than crystal that this guy is not fit to be a teacher at all. The fact that someone this fucked in the head, this completely irrational and stupid is teaching pre-teens is unsettling and all i can hope that he gets canned for doing all this. Granted, he has been suspended as of now, but that is not enough, it's not satisfying enough. While this isn't the worst and most heinous thing i've seen and heard a teacher, or any other adult do, it goes without saying that yohn should not be anywhere near children or teens at all.
